Description

The Labs Without Walls Pilot research app was designed by researchers from The University of New South Wales to understand how perceptions of ageing and gender are impacted by a wide range of cognitive, sensory, social and environmental factors across time. Respondents are invited to provide insights by completing short surveys, and cognitive and sensory activities over an eight-week study period. To help us understand more about how these perceptions are related to physical wellbeing, this app integrates with the Health app to request access to physiological and environmental information collected through the iPhone and an Apple Watch. This includes information about physical activity, heart rate, sleep and environmental noise exposure. For more information on the study and how to register your interest in participating, please visit the study website. This study has been approved by the Human Research Ethics Committee of UNSW.
