really solid game!

pros:-the game is a constant challenge and rewards skilled players, I really like the parry mechanic it is super fun, and the small rouge like mechanic actually does make the game super fun to play-the game feel is like, REALLY GOOD ACTUALLY-animation is stunning and full of character, all of the enemy attacks are fairly balanced while still keeping the difficulty just high enough to keep the game fun-the game is pve based but don’t worry, each level actually does re-use enemies in a small creative spincons: -monetization is kinda annoying, the collabs don’t have any real way to get them besides shilling out tons of money, and the only monetisation there is to make the game easier, I wish I could buy like a cheap skin to support the game instead of being punished by the game becoming easier-there’s also more pop-ups than there should be, and since this game is new there’s still a few bugs (my audio literally doesn’t work-I do wish there was more customisation for the buttons and whatnot

Progression needs reworking

I love almost everything about this game, It’s visually very pleasing and the gameplay yet repetitive is a lot of fun. Growth and progression however becomes very much stuck in the mud. I have got to a point in the game (3rd/4th world) where I can’t progress. Enemies become overboard powerful, yet my characters are maxed out for my level. The only ways I can grow my characters power is either through micro transactions or the patrol feature. The patrol feature uses an excessive amount of energy and slow drips you materials and loot boxes cost insane amounts of real money. I bought the permanent privilege pack which feels like a mass waste of money. $25 and It got me nowhere. I was hoping it would give me Jerry which is conveniently one of my favourite characters as a kid. 40+ boxes and not even a tickle, guaranteed after 70 loot boxes makes it feel deliberate. The amount of money you would need to spend, you could buy 2 AAA games with that. As it stands, games unplayable for me. I recommend playing up to the paywalls as it’s still an enjoyable game then go play cup head instead. Unless they create a + version like Apple Arcade games, it’s impossible to progress. Basically took my money and laughed in my face. Sad practices these days, steer clear from the micro transactions. They give you nothing for your money, you land at the same paywalls.

In my opinion this is really good. The animations, the gameplay. The things I don’t like is, I feel like things are overpriced, like remove ads it’s $23, maybe if you add more to it like infinity life you can turn on and off, make it feel more worth it. And recruiters, I opened like 7 and all I got was uncommon stuff, if you can fix that then it would be good. I know it’s a new game but I would loved for more worlds, and more characters, more modes. Maybe like infinite mode, and you can’t die so I can test out the items, I just hoping it doesn’t be come pay to win, or you have to pay for the chapters, I don’t mind to spend little bit of money on a game I’ve been really enjoying and it definitely deserve some support so we can get more stuff, and be more successful
