AB is my no.1 go-to!

I now shop exclusively with AB for all my makeup, skin care and home fragrance needs… I make an order every two to three weeks. The customer service is excellent - should a rare issue arise, the staff willingly sort it out asap. I’ve even emailed to ask what I thought was a dumb question and the staff member was so kind and didn’t make me feel clueless at all which was lovely! Great range of products, fantastic promotions, speedy order fulfilment and I love the samples. Now if I look for a specific product and find it’s not something AB stocks, I would rather choose a similar item rather than shop elsewhere :)

Frustrating Buggy App

This app is not a great reflection on Adore Beauty and having so many glitches makes it frustrating to use.
Search function does not work effectively for starters. Tried placing an order but only my old addresses were showing. Function to save new address did not work. Tried this several times before going to the desktop site and updating my address there, whilst also deleting old addresses. Would have placed order from there, but it was not showing in the cart - Another annoying glitch. Hours later the app had still not updated my address and would not allow saving new address.
Finally I made changes to other fields on the delivery page in the hope that the page would save and the address would also be updated.
At last it worked. For all the time I had to waste, I would have switched to placing my order with Sephora, if only they had the same products available… Hope you smarten up this app quickly, seems like it wasn’t user tested sufficiently

Hi Zoe's pick, we're sorry to hear you've had such a frustrating experience with the app. Firstly, we'd like to understand your issue with search a bit more so that we can look at improving your experience. Would you be able to elaborate a bit more on what made it not work effectively? Was it the results you were seeing, or did it have to do with the filter choices?
In regards to adding a new address and it not saving, was this via the Checkout process or under your Account settings? Please note that with the newest app update we have improved the design of the Address function in both areas of the app (via checkout and Me section) in hopes of making it easier to use and update. If you are adding a new address when checking out, after you enter the new address into the pop-up and are returned to the Checkout page, there is a checkbox that you can tap and select to save the new address to your account. This will then allow you to continue through to the next step in completing your order, but only if you have entered a valid first name, last name and contact phone number so that we can ensure the delivery is sent to the correct contact and that you can receive delivery updates to the phone number entered on that screen. These fields are mandatory and have a red asterisk against them to indicate so.

Love adore beauty, the app not so much

I’m giving Adore Beauty itself the 4 stars, cause they have an incredible range and I’ve always had positive interactions with customer service. However, the app - headache inducing. Every time I search for a product I can only view one page and when I scroll for more products it just gets stuck on the loading page, I can never see more than one page of products cause it gets stuck on loading. There is no “sort by” tab, just a filter one. And sometimes when I go to checkout it logs me out and when I get back into the app my shopping bag is empty. I hope they can fix this asap. Cause I do really like adore beauty, so I can only shop on their website on a laptop sadly

Hi seza91, sorry to hear that you've had a bad experience with the app. We are constantly iterating & improving the app, and coming in the next release will be a bug fix for the search results screen being limited as you've described. Also coming soon to the app will be our split of sort order and filter into two different buttons, please note that at the moment, you can change sort order via an option under the filter that appears on category listings. In regards to being logged out of the app and your bag being cleared, are you able to provide any more information here about when this happens? E.g. it always happens when you're on wifi or 4/5G, or when you try and add a particular product to your bag?
