Description
Advanced Car Eye 2.0 comprises two full-HD premium wide-angle cameras (front and rear windscreen cams) for your vehicle. Using proximity (radar) and vibration sensors (G sensors), it captures and records critical situations while driving and parking to use as evidence if necessary.
Advanced Car Eye 2.0 is the monitor and control panel for your cameras. You can watch and download recorded videos and images and make manual recordings.
All settings can also be adjusted using the Advanced Car Eye 2.0 app:

Issue with the front camera video after downloading it to my phone
I was enjoying the app with no issues detected until I wanted to save a video to my phone. I found that when I did this the video for the front camera would freeze for a few seconds and then resume with the video a few second later with a those seconds of footage not shown. The video run time line would resume to run but the video would not continue during the freezing. This occurred in more than one point of the minute long video.
I have access to a friends camera and when I tried this with my memory stick it did the same thing when I saved a video to my phone.
The workaround I found for this was to remove the ad and download the video to ly computer where the play back was without issue.
Please fix this issue so I don’t have to rely on the work around.

So bad - Even Dealers don’t know what to do.
After spending mega bucks on this dashcam when I bought my new X1 I have had nothing but problems. The trouble is the dealers don’t know what to do. There is no FAQ for common issues such as with the App connection and there is no help line.
I should have stuck with Blackvue as I never had an issue with it and I could view what was happening from car when sitting in my office.
BMWs dashcam is so much an inferior product to others on the market.
My next BMW will have a Blackvue.
App will not update settings but displays it has
After the update early 2021 , I set the camera to radar off when parked because in busy car park my car displays high battery discharge. The app says its off but the camera still triggers recording.
Thank for the fast response to my issue. Copied the file mentioned to SD card and the camera read it on power up, and now it works correctly. Thanks again. I do use parked features, but not often.
