Planet ÆRTH is toast. Literally shattered into space CHONKS. Thanks to the MOONLINGS… tiny chaos gremlins who thought crashing their MOON into the ÆRTHLINGS’ home planet was a “good idea.” The ÆRTHLINGS had to go into deep cubernation just to ensure their survival, but the destruction was so violent they were ejected from their world and into ours. In the aftermath of the MOONCRASH, the ÆRTHLINGS, stranded on EARTH, are scattered across our world, waiting to be returned to ÆRTH and awakened from cubernation. Now it’s up to you to put ÆRTH back together and bring all the ÆRTHLINGS back home while defending against those pesky MOONLINGS. • Each of the ÆRTHLINGS has their own unique attack and MUTÆTION tree. • Collect and scan all 24 ÆRTHLINGS Genesis Collection NFC-enabled figurines (available at Amazon, Big W, EB Games, Target and more!) • Can you find the four limited edition Seed Series I figurines? Available at special launch events from 28 September. • Trade ÆRTHLINGS figurines with your friends to expand your collection and earn MUTÆTION points to evolve your ÆRTHLINGS. Starting off on a CHONK of ÆRTH, you’ll explore, expand, chop, smash, and craft your way through survival challenges, and rescue stranded ÆRTHLINGS who may or may not remember what happened to their beloved home planet. Meanwhile, the MOONLINGS keep showing up to steal the ÆRTHLINGS’ gear, cause trouble, and generally be the annoying little trolls they are. Earthling is a game that you get attached to without even knowing. You spawn on a chunk of world with interesting sites to explore you collect materials restore the site and unlock more endless possibilities without being complicated or overwhelming it also gives you something to collect in the real world something other then just the game itself you scan the AEarthlings into the game and unlock a new character this game evolves around these three words scan, play and trade. The trading aspect gives you an opportunity to find new friends to trade with and you might think your losing a character but you still keep your digital Aearthling in the game a win win for both traders I would tell you more but I’ll let you find it out for yourself in this world of adventure

So vibrant and fun, runs smooth and doesn’t require a million in app purchases like every other game. They can level up their characters by trading them, not having to spend $$ everytime your kiddo wants to buy a new something for their character is a game changer thank you! Love the physical aspect of the character trades with their friends keeps them social and interactive IRL as well !! Love it!

Fun Design, Big Limits

This game is well designed and hooks you in. It has an easily understandable gameplay with cute graphics and a well ramping difficulty. The issue I have is the limit on trades you hit between purchases. Released at a con that only runs for 3 days, you limit your refresh trades to one every 24hrs unless you buy a new pack. This means even if I bought some (which I did) I run out and cannot trade with the more hard to find aerthlings because I didn’t know about the limit and used them all. Can I earn more by playing? No. Can I buy them with in game currency? No. Now I’m done for trading until the end of the con after already sinking what I thought was reasonable into a new game. Cool try. Don’t limit things so early if you want it to flourish.

Interesting concept. Create a Minecraftesque world, where the purpose is to heal the Earth. Sell mystery hard plastic cubes ‘Figs’ that need to be scanned with NFR devices. The Figs scan on an iPad as they don’t have NFR technology. There is little information on the app or online on how to play or how to set up parental controls with a parent account so child and parent can play together. If you accidentally scan the fig on the wrong account, then you don’t have access to that Fig - it’s locked out, so there’s AU$12 down the drain. Have had zero response to an email requesting help with that.The challenge to unlock Chonks and defeat moonlings whilst gathering resources is fun and addictive. However, there is NO Help or How to play section. I can’t Explore any more chonks and I don’t know why. Clicking on Help sends me to something irrelevant to Aerthlings. So I seem to have come to the end of the journey with no explanation on how to keep exploring.This game hits the right notes on psychological addiction, tying in with buying and collecting overpriced tat, in an ironic quest to save the Aerth by damaging Earth with more useless data centers and plastic landfill.
