Description
Register your ALDI TALK SIM with with the APP. If your SIM is already registered you may start the video legitimation immediately.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION: Effective July 1st 2017 mobile telecommunication providers are required by law to check the identity of a user prior to to activating any prepaid SIM. Subsequently now an identity check is required in addition to registration. This can be done easily by video identification. Please have your valid ID ready when entering the video session.

Quick and easy
This was so much easier than I thought it would be! I actually avoided activating my SIM card for a whole week because I was nervous about the video registration part (I have a non EU passport and my German is not so good), but it was so simple and easy - there was an option for English and the person on the other end of the line was really friendly and kind.
Surprisingly quick and easy
Im and English speaker with very limited German. Even though all the information was in German it was easy to navigate and translate. The final video identification was in English and very easy too.
Easy and straightforward service
Had minor problems connecting initially, but once we got through the service was easy, quick and straightforward.
