Ratings and Reviews
Everything you want in a mobile RPG
For those who whinge about this game on iPads and iPhones, you’re having a laugh surely. This game is basically bug free, has enormous replayability, and overall sensational gameplay. Heaps of character development choices and storyline. The only minor downfall is the level cap which comes into play if you want to solo the game. IMO the best game series on mobile hands down
Amazing game
This game is incredible! There are a couple of minor bugs (nothing game breaking, though don't click on Boo!), and you need to make sure you save before minimising, but OMG, it's the best RPG ever, and it's on iPad!
In terms of DLC: yes, there are in-app purchases. It's $12 for everything, not an indefinite amount of micro transactions. This allows people who want to play the original to do so without the new characters; it also allows people to buy the game for $15 and not $25.
In terms of gameplay: it is stable for as long as you don't switch apps on an iPad air, and it runs as smoothly as silk. I assume most people reading this know how awesome the game is, so I don't need to mention 200 hours and more of gameplay, and some of the deepest npc's written for an RPG?
There are improvements that can be made. The dialogue us sometimes difficult to select - if the developers could implement something similar to KOTOR's system, that would help. It's also quite difficult to buy or sell stacks of items at once - improving the double click would help, here. But these are minor issues, and the game is great.
Hope this review is helpful to someone. I would strongly recommend this game if you like true role playing games :-)
Cmon guys you now need a magnifier to see the toolbars
And I play on the iPad Pro, the big one. The size of the buttons is so tiny it makes the game unplayable, even on this largest of iPads. Too small to see, too small to be able to tap without hitting the neighbour, just poor poor design, with so much screen space that could have seen these bars larger and extended this is just a crazy bad design flaw. I have managed to increase text size but this has no effect on any of the buttons Can't play anymore, very disappointed, let's have this corrected in another update guys.
