Is this app still being updated?
It’s functionality is much nicer than Goodreads. It doesn’t have all books loaded on it, which is fine (it’s obviously much newer than Goodreads), and you have the opportunity to request a book you would like added. Unfortunately this seems to be a slow process, I put in requests a week ago and nothing...
I’m not sure if this app is still being updated, the recommendations also have changed since I installed the app a couple of weeks ago.
I was hoping to find an alternative to Goodreads, but unfortunately I don’t think this is it at this stage.

Thank you for your feedback. We've had a lot of requests over the past weeks, which has made the wait time longer than expected. Our team is working to get our GR Import ready as soon as possible, this will transfer all your book data and any missing books to BookSloth automatically. In future updates we're making it easier and faster for users to add any missing books. These updates should come out very soon, we appreciate your support and patience.
Limited database
I want this app to be good so I can ditch good reads which is horrible! Unfortunately 75% of the books I’ve searched for are not on book sloth and unless the app is easy to use (ie it has common popular books on it) then I can’t see users moving across.

Best book app
Basically Goodreads but SO much better, the UI is gorgeous, recommended book lists are actually accurate, and the rating system is so cute, I absolutely adore this app!
