Reliable & works!

I’ve been using this for a while to move photos between devices & it’s never failed. Using the free version which gives me a lot more space than Dropbox. I also find it’s organisation simpler.

Slow, bugs, seems to lock up on updates, offline files frustrating

Seem to be unable to share files to it from other apps - the icon is there but it just crashes when it tries. Offline is unreliable, gets “stuck” on a file, or seems to, if you mark a folder for offline, keep trying to redownload entire folder simple because a single file was updated in it (this might not be the case, but it does repeatedly try to download my half-gig folder having already once succeeded). Uploading is slow, well beyond any network slowness. It’s just generally slow when you try to preview a file. And if things do get “stuck” you need to kill the app to get it to do any more of its background stuff. All this fiddling around versus its main, cross-platform, cross-OS competition which seems to just do its thing... generally disappointing. I want a cloud solution to keep personal seperate from (home) work, but this doesn’t seem to be it.

Business

We asked for our account billing to be changed from US $ to AUS$ as our business is in Australia.
In doing so my Box account was deleted.
No access, to any of our files for 3 days & counting now.
After numerous attempts to contact support, all we get is fobbed off.
Email saying log in & change a setting.
WE CAN’T LOG IN as somehow when the change was done by BOX my account no longer exists- ie can’t log in to an account that has been removed or deleted.
Follow up has been horrendous.
What business can go 3 days without its files ??
The support phone number is constantly unattended or not supported.
An emails go I responded.
So disappointed, by such a lack of support.
For something that seems to have been a simple but painful error made by Box Administration.
