Quick and easy to use but also has the ability to do complex tasks if needed - saved a lot of time by importing spreadsheets of data that could be incorporated in the labels.
Glad to see they invested the time in the software to match the quality of the printer.

Often the Apps that come for free with peripherals aren't that much to talk about, but this one isn't bad at all, especially if you, like me, own more than one device that uses the interface. This greatly decreases the "up and running" time. It's not necessarily the easiest to use at times as the hunt and find for commands ratio can be higher than one would like. Certainly some floating window interfaces would be a useful addition, especially for things like formatting (which in it self could use some simplification for more complex work). Yet, that said, it's a good App that helps you use the Brother devices really quite well and unlike some other Apps designed by the device manufacturers, works well, isn't that hard to use (at least for more simple tasks), and has some really useful features to create the Label you want. If I could ask for one improvement not already mentioned here, it would be in the Database usage. When printing out a large number of labels that use a database as their source, the App isn’t flexible enough to make this easy, not at all. It can be done, but, it’s far a simple, straightforward task and that really, really is disappointing given how good the rest of the App shows itself to be.

This has the potential to be a great app, but in the third decade of the new millennium, it reminds me, sadly, of where we were in the 1980s. The app lacks so many intuitive actions that a Mac owner has come to expect over the decades. The link to the printer is clunky and prone to dropping out despite the fact that USB cable is only connection allowed between this Bluetooth-enabled printer and a MacOS computer. Irony indeed. This is undoubtedly originally built for a Windows environment, poorly converted to the Mac environment, then ruthlessly promoted as Mac compatible. You can say I'm disappointed with my significant investment in this product and the accompanying application.
