CareCommons gives scattered siblings one shared place to care for an aging parent -- without anyone getting buried under group texts, duplicate calls, or the guilt of not knowing what needs doing next.
Create a Care Circle in minutes. Invite brothers and sisters through the standard share sheet -- a link via Messages or Mail -- and everyone joins your private, shared space. No new accounts, no passwords to hand out. Your family's information lives in your own iCloud, encrypted by Apple, and is never sent to any third-party server.
What your family shares:
- Task board: Add and assign what needs doing -- medication pickups, doctor appointments, check-in calls. Anyone can mark a task done, so nothing falls through the cracks.
- Care log: Every family member can add a timestamped note after a visit or call. One running record, visible to the whole circle, replaces a dozen separate texts.
- Document vault: Store the insurance card, the advance directive, the pharmacy number -- all in one place every sibling can reach.
- Contacts: Doctor, specialist, pharmacy, home aide -- listed once, readable by all.
- Schedule and reminders: Upcoming appointments and medication times, with local notifications so nobody forgets.

Privacy:
Your family's care information is stored in your private iCloud account (CloudKit) and shared only with the people you invite. CareCommons collects no analytics, runs no ads, and sends no data to outside servers.
