Editors' Notes

It’s hard to make the best even better, but the sequel to Day One lives up to expectations—and then some. The app keeps its interface streamlined but adds a wealth of new valuable features. Your journal entries contain all sorts of information—you can geolocate them, add tons of photos to each entry, and even see your day’s fitness activity. Switch over to the beautiful new photo view when you’re ready to see your world at a glance.

Pretty much only limited by your imagination

I tried this app out as a digital bullet journal alternative, and boy can I say, I’ve only had it for just under a week and I will be definitely keeping my premium status after the trial (though I changed it from yearly to monthly). I love that you can make different journals for different things, a few I have are: planner (to do lists and stuff), habits, dream journal and a budgeting section.

I will say I was a bit confused at first, but you really just need to dive in and try things out. This app is exactly what I wanted and more, I think the one thing that would make it better would be a calendar planner section where you can add appointments and things ahead of time, without it clogging up the top of the main journal page you put it in, but it would only show up a set amount of time in advance (you could set it to a few days, a week, a month).

I highly recommend this app to anyone looking for a good diary, notebook, to-do list, planner, or digital bullet journal.

After my father recently passing away from cancer. I had become depressed, resentful to my family and enter a dark place. It has been 5 months and I was watching a self help documentary. In this doco they recommended journaling everyday to help with my emotions. So I searched through loads of apps. I read current user reviews and thought to myself why not, this one sounds great. I’m not one to pay for apps but this was worth every scent. I have used this app for 4 consecutive days now. I know short, but I have created multiple entries. You can create more then one ‘journal’ at a time. I’m currently journal about ‘my life at 30’ and new business ideas for a project I’m working on. You can also create books from this app. How amazing, it’s absolutely changed my life and my vision to life. I can now express myself in words in total secret or I can chose to share through social media. Hope you enjoy and support this amazing app as much as me. I would love to see what else they can add in the near future. 5 stars!!!
