DiffDraft is a local-first workspace for comparing text versions and composing one clean final draft on iPhone and iPad. Keep multiple versions as Sources A, B, C, and D. Choose any two for the current comparison, understand exactly how they differ, and build your Draft from the wording you want to keep. ◼ A comparison with a clear direction DiffDraft always treats the Left Source as the base of the comparison. The Right Source is compared against it. • Unchanged — the content corresponds across both Sources • Changed — corresponding text differs • Added — content appears on the Right relative to the Left base • Removed — content appears on the Left but not the Right • Gap and Empty states preserve structure around unmatched rows Reverse Left and Right and DiffDraft recalculates the comparison from the new direction without changing the underlying Sources. ◼ Compare without losing structure • Keep Sources A, B, C, and D in the Source Shelf • Choose any two Sources as Left and Right • Preserve stable row relationships through insertions, removals, and replacements • Keep manual Draft rows and intentional gaps in context • Review repeated or similar passages without reducing the comparison to screen position ◼ Compose the final Draft Take Left, Take Right, or Take Both, then edit the Draft directly. Switch the active Source pair without resetting your Draft, and copy the final result as clean plain text. Your manually written Draft content remains your own. DiffDraft does not force every Draft row to pretend it came from a Source. ◼ Save and continue later Keep local Saved Drafts so unfinished comparison and composition work can be reopened with its Sources, roles, Draft, and workspace structure intact. ◼ Continue on Mac DiffDraft is also available on Mac. Export a DiffDraft package when you want to move unfinished work between platforms. The package carries the workspace and embedded Source snapshots needed to continue on iPhone, iPad, or Mac. This is deliberate package-based continuity, not automatic cloud sync. ◼ Learn the comparison model inside the app The built-in Interactive Guide explains why Left is the base, what every comparison badge means, how Added and Removed depend on direction, how aligned rows stay in context, and how the Compose workflow builds the final Draft. ◼ Local-first and plain-text first No account is required. Source text is not silently changed by comparison actions. Copy Final Draft produces clean text without row labels, badges, or interface markers.
