DoorDash - Food Delivery 12+

In short, just don’t use them. I’ve spent over $3000 and their mapping system is just horrible, my orders would always get processed by the furthest restaurant away (e.g Maccas) and the drivers will always go to the incorrect street address. I provided them feedback about this and they dont care. They keep offering me $10 credit to try and bribe me when my food keeps getting delivered cold. This has gone on for about 2 years.

Today, they screwed up on 2 of my orders (one Order was cancelled but I was still charged & another was delivered to the wrong address). The customer service rep implied that I was still going to get charged a service fee on the cancelled order when there clearly was no service provided. (I spoke to Mark Joseph on chat and I have screenshots/photos & videos to prove he was providing me with the incorrect information and he wasn’t even capable of processing a full refund).

Ubereats does charge a little more but I’ve never had an issue with their deliveries unlike doordash. I’ve spent quite bit of money on the app and have been treated like trash, Even after giving them feedback on what to improve, they just don't care. It took them 2 service reps as well as a specialist team to refund my doordash pass and kick me off the platform. It’s a shame since that even though they have a wider variety of food options, the food will arrive lukewarm or cold.

This is the second time this week I’ve received stale and cold food. The first time I placed my order it was to a restaurant 5 minutes away from my house so not a far drive, right. So I placed my order it said it would arrive within 30 minutes at the latest. 50min goes by and I call the dasher because I noticed on the order tracking he was driving all over the place and 20 minutes in the opposite direction to the restaurant. Then after and hour and 20min later I finally got a resolution from their customer service team and they said they’re sending a new driver to pick it up. I kid you not almost 2 hours later I get my order and it’s cold and stale completely inedible. They did credit me money but why did they not get them to remake the meal if they know how long ago it was ready to be picked up. Just so you can better understand my frustration by this point I have a meal I was unable to eat and couldn’t find any open restaurants because of the time. Tonight I have ordered again and my nachos is completely stale and not even warm with a side of cold churros 😌🤞
