Worst of them

I was a menulog driver and it was the actual worst experience of my life. Big chain Restaurants have zero respect and keep you waiting forever with no updates or information. Then menulog pays you (im quoting driver support here) a maximum of $7 an hour for waiting. I was assaulted by a store owner hit in the face with a bag of food and attacked with a metal pole because the customer called to complain that it had been 25mins since they placed there order and hadn’t received there food yet. I was literally in my car indicating to leave the car park when this happened. The support people can’t help you with anything you speak to a different person every message they have no numbers for direct contact to resolve anything in a timely fashion. I spent more time trying to resolve issues than i did working. I was almost never payed correctly or on time. I was blatantly lied to by lazy service people who would clearly just take a guess at what to say to me to try and keep me or there boss happy. On top of that every experience everyone i know has with them is they are always struggling to find drivers to do deliveries and they are always having to cancel and enter an argument to get refunds etc. absolutely the worst company... i have no clue how they don’t have lawsuits against them for numerous things..
Would recommend to anyone to boycott this company so they disappear for good.

Terrible customer service

I order $77 worth of food at 7.30pm, and I was still ‘waiting for a driver’ to be assigned 45mins later. They app specifically says they won’t get your food cooked till you get a driver. I called the restaurant and they said they never received the order and said it made no sense that they assign drivers after the order, they offered to make the food on the spot so we could pick it up. So I contacted Menulog to cancel so I could just go and buy our food (again!!). Menulog said they can cancel BUT I can’t have a refund because an hour hasn’t passed, only 49mins. I asked them how on earth a driver could be assigned, my food cooked and delivered in 11mins? It was impossible unless they use time travel or quantum physics. They didn’t care, they said 1 hour must pass and then I get a refund. It’s fraud and obtaining financial advantage by deception. I was furious and waited on chat for the 11 mins and guess what, I still didn’t have a driver, so they finally agreed to cancel and refund. I think drivers don’t choose Menulog as they don’t pay them enough, so more often than not you won’t get a driver or it’ll be so late you’ll be so angry you’ll lose your appetite. Deleting app as of today. Absolute joke of a company. Stop paying for rappers to advertise your terrible service and actually spend money paying drivers to deliver food.

Terrible experience

I used menu log for the first and last time last night. Ordered at 5.09 pm and was advised through the app that the food would arrive at 5.36. It still has not arrived at 6pm so I called menu log only to be given the run around but eventually told my order would be delivered at 6.10pm. This time passed and still no delivery so I tried to contact menu log via chat. This was a complete waste of time! I was given conflicting and wrong information including that my order would be picked up at 6.14 when it had already passed that time. Instead of staying online and ensuring my order was delivered the consultant decided to end the chat (talk about poor customer service!) I called the restaurant directly at 6.30pm and they advised that the food was sitting there ready to be picked up (and cold by this point) but no one had arrived to collect it. The status of my order in the app then updated to ‘delivered’ even when I was on the phone to the restaurant who confirmed the food was still sitting there. I ended up cancelling my order and ordered something else via Deliveroo which arrived in less than 15 mins. The restaurant also told me that have contact issues with menu log. I received no offer of compensation from menu log despite the misinformation and poor service. I have now deleted the app.
