Doesn’t work since update
I don’t mind this app normally, I like its search functions, my purchase history etc. However, it hasn’t been working since I ran the latest update three weeks ago. It doesn’t open properly; says there are technical issues.
I also agree with others’ feedback that the membership card is too hard to find within the app - should be more accessible for finding quickly when making a purchase in store. Could you add it to Apple Wallet, like you can with the Woolworths Everyday Rewards card? (Same parent company!)
Finally, the app looks pretty, but anything decorative takes longer to load. Lose some of the prettiness for more functionality, please! Thanks.
Getting better, but...
My main use of your app is to access the myDan’s card for scanning at the register. And I’m sure many users have experienced the dagger looks from those behind you in the queue while they wait for the app to open, then search through the menu to find the card. Sure, it’s something like 10 seconds, but feels like at eternity!! The latest update puts a link to the card on the homepage which is a step in the right direction, but the slowest part of opening the app is the animated, hand-drawn logo. I’m pretty sure all users know they’re in the app and find this frustrating at best. If you feel the need to have this self-gratifying feature (remember website flash splash pages?) perhaps if could be shown for first time users, then after that, go straight to the homepage when opened, or even have a setting to open on the card. That would suit everyone, right? Rant over. Looking forward to the updates ;) Thanks.
Slow, glitchy, and needs to support Apple Wallet
The app is quite slow to load on my iPhone X and either does not support adding the membership card to Apple Wallet, or I can’t work out how to export my card to my wallet. Either way that’s an App fail.
Also it demands access to BlueTooth but doesn’t give any good reason why it needs it. I’ve never seen an app like this demand BlueTooth access and I’m certainly not allowing it without good reason.
Also why does it take up to five days for you to change a flag in a database to say not to send me promotional messages. That’s nonsense. I’d delete the app except for the fact that I need it for my membership card, as I’m no longer in the habit of carrying my wallet around.
