Great variety!

A family member referred me to EatClub and I have been using it for a few months now, and I must say that, I am so happy to be a EatClub member. I’ve scored some great discounts! It’s so easy to book discounts and there are so many great deals! Also, I’ve been very happy with the new payment system, which is far less awkward. Have also tried so many different restaurants that I would not have, otherwise, heard about. Some have even been fine-dining restaurants which was a surprise, particularly, as I don’t usually visit these places knowing just how much they charge normally. I’m very happy with EatClub’s deals and service - I have referred friends and family. Thank you - keep up the great work!

Incredible service - Money-saving app!

I’ve been using eat club for nearly a year now, and it’s been incredibly helpful for keeping eating-out costs for me and my family. They’ve got excellent deals here.

The customer service is some of the best I’ve ever experienced. The process for refunds if a restaurant forgets parts of your order is fast and easy. Help is only 1 call away. There’s been a few times when a restaurant makes a mistake and so we’ve received a call instantly from EatClub’s customer service and they’ve given us discount codes for the inconvenience.

Rude customer service, harmful to local businesses and consumers

I recently tried using Eat Club for the first time and ended up having a terrible experience. I misunderstood the app’s instructions about walking in without a reservation—this was my mistake, and I fully acknowledge it. However, when I tried to explain my confusion to customer service, the representative adopted a condescending tone, reading every screen to me as if I were incapable of understanding their interface.

I would have been happy to treat this as a learning experience, but their attitude made it clear that this is not a company that values its customers or the local businesses it works with. Not only did this mishap ruin a planned group outing, but it also left the local restaurant thinking I was trying to game their system.

After this encounter, I deleted my account and, upon sharing my experience, heard similar stories from friends. I cannot in good faith recommend Eat Club to anyone.

This is a stark example of how tech can end up hurting both consumers and local businesses by prioritizing a flashy concept over clear communication and decent support. This interaction makes it clear that Eat Club is simply rent seeking off hard working local businesses rather than adding actual value.
