Ratings and Reviews
App is solid, customer support is a little shaky.
App works as required and has a pretty decent user experience. Text and icons do feel a bit on the tiny side, even for someone with great vision. It’s also a little annoying about changing personal details, requiring you to contact a human just to change your mobile number. A little annoying when you want to order right there and then, but hit a blocker just to change your contact number.
Support is a little annoying. I didn’t receive an item in full and the only reply I got was “we’ll tell the restaurant off” and that’s it. At least with UberEats, I’m confident I’ll be reimbursed for a missing item pretty much right away. I’m all for supporting businesses more, but I’d rather stick with a platform where I’m more confident I’m better protected as a consumer.
The app may charge your account without acknowledging the order
I was at the store at Nandos Rouse Hill and placed an order using the Nandos app and selected PayPal as the payment method. PayPal confirmed payment but the nandos app did not recognise it. I spoke to the store manager and she advised their system did not receive the order and asked me to try again. I tried again in front of her and PayPal charged my account a second time but again the app and the store system did not receive the order. The store manager then advised me that as the store did not receive the order and will not pick up the payment from PayPal, I’ll get my money back from PayPal. I then placed the order without the app using my bank card. However two days later both unsuccessful purchases was charged to my bank account by PayPal.
I tried calling Nandos customer service many times which I don’t think actually exists. Every time I was told there’s a 3 minutes wait by an automated voice and after 7 minutes of waiting the call gets disconnected saying no agents are available.

Can't add things you can add in store?!?
Useless. If I want to add something to a menu item I am given about 5 choices - not all possible choices. So if I want to add peri sauce to my avo wrap the only option is vegan peri sauce.
Weird to allow you to add some things from a small select group.
Renders it useless as I have to order in store anyway.
