eGiving facilitates the electronic collection of tithes and offerings for the Seventh-day Adventist Church in the South Pacific Division. The app enables the returning of tithes and giving of offerings to all churches set up for eGiving using credit or debit cards.

Defaults for church and credit/debit cards can be set up to make repeat giving easy. To change the default card, tap on the respective card on the Profile screen.

For those who wish to schedule planned giving, the app allows recurring transactions on a weekly, fortnightly, monthly or quarterly basis. Recurring transactions can be edited and deleted within the app. You can edit/delete recurring transactions by tapping on the respective recurring schedule on the Profile screen.

To facilitate the highest quality app, some usage information, such as app crashes are collected through the Bug Snag platform. Access to this platform is restricted to employees of the South Pacific Division of the Seventh-day Adventist Church and the software development partner, Rocket Lab Pty Ltd.

Needs more clarity

Have been using the app for years, but still struggle each time to use it because I don’t find it intuitive to get to the page I want. Particularly getting to and from the “Your Gifts” page to the “Select Planned Giving” page. Found the old version much easier to figure out.
When using the “Quick Give” option, it is not clear whether funds are being allocated as tithe or offering. The description “Give a gift to the ministry of the church you are attending” makes it sound like the gift will go to the “local church ministry” of the selected church. It wasn’t until I received the receipt that I realised my donation had been allocated as tithe, which was not what I intended.

Unbelievably frustrated

The app won’t let me log in with either my MyAdventist login or my mobile number.
I have had to change my password multiple times and the app still says I need to log in with my mobile. However, when I try, I receive an error message that the app is incompatible with multi factor authentication.
The support team has been wholly unhelpful and at this point I am at my wits’ end.
I am incredibly disappointed and unbelievably frustrated; this was supposed to make it easier for me to return tithes and offerings but it has caused me nothing but problems.

Also, the issue regarding multi-factor authentication has recently been resolved, so that should help!

Seems to be stuck in a loop repeatedly asking for a phone number then an email then asking for them both again.
