App does record data, but the scale of the graphs is wrong. If you select ‘day’, the scale shows 5 1/2 hours. If you select ‘week’, it shows a two days. If you select ‘month’ it shows three days. If you select ‘year’ it shows three months.

As a new user of an InkBird IBS-TH2 I found the EngBird 2.2.6 App functional and reasonably easy to use. The data export works. Some of the functionality is a bit cryptic. The scroll and zoom controls for the charts were not immediately obvious to me on my older iPhone. Also the path to export data was not immediately clear.
I have some suggestions for future app releases.
If the app calculated dew point, that could be plotted on the same chart as temperature. It could also be added to the export data files.
It might also be nice if the app calculated Heat Stress Index (apparent temperature) which could be useful for the alarm system.
For data export, it would be useful to have a user preference for data in chronological or reverse chronological order.
Also the export file could have a field containing the logger name or identifier rather than relying on the export file name. That way you could export data from multiple devices in the one file.
Hopefully InkBird will consider some of these ideas which will improve the performance of their product compared with their competitors products.

Just got a new ink bird and have started using the app for the first time. Seems to work fine, however the “alert me” function only works if the app is opened. This is silly, as I can see the temp as soon as I open the app, I don’t need a car alarm to tell me it’s out of range. I thought the app would send a push notification when the temp goes out of range, that would be much more useful! Also then if you could “mute” alerts for a selected time period eg 5 mins, 10 mins, 30 mins, 1 hour. So that you do t keep getting push notifications if you don’t want them. Perhaps developers could co aider these for next version??
