Event Countdown Premium is an auto-renewable subscription. Each Event Countdown Premium subscription period lasts 1 year and provides access to the following premium features: no ads, 450 colour icons, detailed notifications, cloud sync and repeat events.
Payment will be charged to iTunes Account at confirmation of purchase. Subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24-hours before the end of the current period. Account will be charged for renewal within 24-hours prior to the end of the current period, and identify the cost of the renewal. Subscriptions may be managed by the user and auto-renewal may be turned off by going to the user's Account Settings after purchase. Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited when the user purchases a subscription to that publication, where applicable.

great :)
I got this app a few weeks ago. 16 days, 4 hours, 39 minutes and 27 seconds, to be exact. It’s really helped, made a different and even organised me and my life out a little bit. Everyday I’m on this app checking how many til my birthday, or how many days til my family gathering so I can get ingredients to bake up a storm. I have an obsession for my back screen for the app, a theme of yellows, oranges and reds. I’ve got eighteen individual events and I am planning on adding more once I write this. One thing I’d add is that so others could see your events and maybe even an icon for a like button? that would make my day!

Great update
The updated version is almost exactly what I was after. A countdown with years, days, hours, minutes.
The only thing I recommend to the app developers is to have long term count downs with year, week & days and have a short term count down with weeks, days, hours, minutes, seconds. Or allow people to select which type of countdown they would like to create. Unless that is the premium product.

Version 2.3 is now available and counting down in days is back. If you'd still like to countdown in years on either the events list or event view screens, you can change this in settings.

Hi,
This app is amazing. It allows you to set reminders for future and upcoming events with ease. You can also set the reminders to have different colours and icons to make remembering the events easier. No, this is not a member from the company that created this app. I am just a person that discovered this app as I needed to set a reminder for my neighbour’s birthday. I love this app and I bet that you’ll love it too.
