A Detailed Review
I should say that Fancade may not be for everyone, but everyone should give it a shot.
You can play many mini games there. Yeah the prominent genre are arcade (hence the name Fan-cade) but the game mechanics and styles are diverse. There are also not-so-easy puzzle games (such as Ditto), "art exhibitions"/experimental games, and more.
The best part to me (and the most ambitious one) is that it features tools to create your own games. The "Kit" section enables you to customize an original game, and is very novice-friendly, although some people like to start from scratch.
A warning: most of the time, you'll have to repeatedly check out Fancade website or Discord channel for wiki/tutorials. And as someone who have programming experience, I often feel Fancade's drag-and-drop coding is more complicated than just the traditional keyboard typing.
In return, your game graphics and underlying mechanics are already taken care of. And you can share and see and chat with other gamers/scripters and even Martin (the dev) at Discord. And it feels very rewarding in a sense..

Slight teething issues
I’d love to say this game is perfect. I really would. The ability to create your own games on top of the variety of what’s on offer is a rare option in games today. That being said, there are some issues with some of the games. This probably shows best in Crawlers Balance, where the Crawlers collision might not match the platform. This means your Crawler, who would otherwise be landing on a flat platform and should land flat on the platform, suddenly goes bouncing off in a random direction. Other than these collision issues, I haven’t found anything I can fault within the game.
