Spelio ,

Fred was bad may 2013 a disaster now we want Notes back!

Bring notes and good searches back faster... Notes are now back, makes it the best and only place for Serious photographers and backing up.. Hope we get no more surprises. Wish they would ask the Pro members first to test the Beta ver. This was posted a few years ago, like after the 2013 debacle, now things are much better. Would love to be able to actually see NOTES on an image using an iPad or the App on a iPad. There is also no way to place NOTES using an iPad or to add the photo to the map!! Would also like to search for Albums and Groups by name in the App… Need a way to delete a comment in the APP comments. And to search for Groups by name.. Now we have #MyFlickrYear Just love it #roundaustraliawithspelio and #FlickrSpelio #GswaNullarbor Looks like NOTES are great again…… Need a way to drag a photo to move its location….

Now is the chance to move and start again

I forgot about Flickr I’m sorry, but already vastly superior to Instagram and I’m saying if you see this, now is your chance to get people to move from Instagram, people are tired and they’re annoyed. We just want a place to post photos with an easy and clean interface and free from spam posts and try hards. Start going for it Flickr I feel a lot of artists and photographers are going to make the switch, I’ve been looking and I feel Flickr can be it since it has a decent amount of users already and the vibe seems to be what I’m looking for.
Also I might add it seems pretty much unchanged from when I had an account years ago so thanks.

Great for consumption, terrible for tagging/organising/etc.

The Flickr app is fantastic for browsing, favouriting, and commenting, but it falls down in a massive heap if you try to do much by way of uploading or organising.

Somewhere along the way the share extension has stopped working so I’m unable to directly upload from Lightroom on my iPad Pro and have to save the images out to the camera roll first and directly open the Flickr app to do it. Then, it’s not possible to individually name each photo if you’re bulk-uploading, you can’t bulk-add tags or locations, and the uploader uploads the photos in seemingly random order rather than the order that they were taken in. Even worse, the Organiser on the Flickr website flat-out doesn’t work in mobile Safari, you can’t drag images into the batch editor thus rendering it impossible to do any organising without a full-blown computer.

I would LOVE to see the Flickr app have all the capabilities of the website for organisation and to not even need a computer to do everything I want to do!
