Description

FloatingPlayer is an always accessible music player which you can use on any app.
FloatingPlayer creates a now playing view with playback controls that you can access through Picture in Picture.

Open FloatingPlayer to connect to Spotify or Apple Music, change the player to your liking and press the start button. A floating player will be created which you can use anywhere to control your music.

A Spotify account or access to your Music library is required to use FloatingPlayer and some features such as playback control may require Spotify Premium.

An Excellent App

A great little app that worked immediately. Looks better than the now playing widget in “Control Center”, & it’s available in more places than all the Home Screen widgets that do a similar thing.

The one thing I would ask for is an option to have the album artwork fill as much of the PiP window as possible, with the title/artist either overlaid or omitted. (or better yet, a setting to pick)

The coloured backgrounds work great for most albums I’ve tried.
