This is the basic application for connecting and communicating with a Bluetooth(R) v4.0 enabled G-SHOCK.
Pairing the watch with your smartphone enables use of a variety of different Mobile Link functions that greatly enhance the smartphone experience.
The G-SHOCK MOVE app also simplifies certain watch operations by letting you perform them on your phone screen.
You can check smartphone notifications (incoming calls, incoming e-mails, etc) on your watch.

The following functions are available if you paired the G-SHOCK MOVE app with a supported watch.
- Time adjustment and setting of the watch
- Create Training Plans
- Display and analyze life log data such as steps, heart rate*, etc., measured by the watch
- Display and analyze activity log data such as distance, time, heart rate*, training effect*, etc., measured by the watch
- Linkage (export) with external services such as Apple Health, Strava, etc

It’s really good except it won’t do the update
No matter where I am the Ap won’t update, very annoying but otherwise I enjoy all the Ap has to offer and show me.
Potentially Great - Just Not Yet
The watch is pretty good, but the move app lacks better fitness workout plan customisation and the biggest flaw is the lack of tide information!! This watch prides itself on being a predominantly tide focused device, though any lat/long input is rubbish as it does not hold true data for that area, nor does it give the mid tide times, so it is completely useless to try to put in a custom area outside of the pre saved data points.
Please add better tide data to the tide watch!! It would be nice to see Sunshine Coast tide information in QLD, Australia.
This watch has so much excellent potential. So far it’s good but definitely not great.
The notification access and control could be improved a lot as well. Its pretty tedious to access notifications and the app plays no benefit in assisting with notification customisation either.
If you’re considering purchasing this watch, its okay but id wait til they either upgrade the firmware or build a new device with whats lacking - and the app only gets 3 stars cause the watch has potential. App isn't that great.
Update notifications
Casio have to do a update that’s makes it easier to read messages, instead of having to go through screens it should be a push of a button to open up the whole message
