Better than Explore

I found having both installed would occasionally give me glitches/bugs when sending/receiving check ins and messages. I would also get charged for internet messages that were meant to be free as they would sometimes send through Explore instead.

I know the two appa are good for different things, but I find Messenger is better than Explore for just using your inreach mini 2 for messaging, check ins, and weather. If you're relying on maps and route planning then yes, you will need Explore.

But... If you already use a phone-based navigation app such as Avenza or Gaia, then save the headache of having the two apps. Explore is clunky and Messenger is smooth and seamless, plus free internet messages with Messenger!!

Doesn’t size properly for an iPhone mini 13

After 1 year it STILL doesn’t fit into the screen of an iPhone 13 mini. And yes, I reported this a year ago. Have any of your team ever actually tried it ???? The left 20% of left and right sides is truncated meaning I can’t read anything on those parts of the screen - such as how many messages left in my current billing period!!!

Overpriced and Dysfunctional waste of money

This is the second trip i have done with inreach mini 2 and Messenger App. I bought this device to keep in contact with family while i am out of range. Unfortunately when i try to bluetooth the app and the inreach device, the device locks up and i have to turn off and restart both the device and app to send a message. I have only managed to send a few messages this way. Too bad if there was an emergency. I am very disappointed in Garmin.
