Unless with iPhone

Only get a black screen when using an iPhone works fine with a Samsung phone or Samsung tablet you can’t adjust camera or see live view whilst using an iPhone. If you have an iPhone stay well clear of gator with wifi you won’t be able to set it up APP NEEDS TO BE UDATED SO PEOPLE WITH AN IPHONE CAN USE IT UNTIL THEN ITS MONEY WELL WASTED

Needs more bug fixing ASAP

The old App worked but updates were only done infrequently and critical updates needed after iOS releases lagged months.

This new App shows promise but it is still very buggy. Still getting black screen on live view when connected to 82W cam. No issues with old original App.

Clicking on the dashcam you want to view under paired devices is easier than having to manually connect to the Dashcams wifi SSID as in the old App. However the developers need to have this App wait a bit longer to connect to the dashcam Wifi SSID before timing out and throwing up a screen of debug data. If you select the same dashcam again under paired devices it will connect proving its just a timeout issue.

Sometimes the video clips won’t play and sometimes they fail to load a preview picture.

If the bugs aren’t fixed soon, it will end up like the old App where people gave up using it and Gator Dashcams. Will be a shame as the Gator Dashcams are reliable and good value.

This app is pretty good

This app is really good. It looks better since the upgrade and is pretty simple to use. The developer is very receptive to feedback and helpful when contacted. Recommend VLC Viewer when reviewing footage via Mac as I couldn’t get any sound on QuickTime or Preview.
