Some Bugs to Fix ( Jaya Gaura Purnima ) :

Another (9th) bug, needs fixing, in which Apple also has an interest, to insist upon, ( + to ensure, can't occur again, in any iOS App ) :

(9) if iPhone set "Dark Mode" ( iOS Settings > Display & Brightness > Dark ), iOS App "Gaudiya Calendar", in both App's Display modes, "Today Screen", "Calendar View", ( App Settings > Display mode ) – standard iPhone information, both left and right, of the ( camera + sensors ) "notch", at top, iPhone screen, is rendered white, against a white background – and thus, such information (as below) is illegible; cannot be seen

i.e: (a) left: time ( digital clock ), focus status ( "do not disturb" ), + (b) right: signal strength ( "bars" ), battery status, cellular status ( 'X'G )

– and so on, depending on iPhone situation, e.g:

Wi-Fi status, etc, are all illegible, cannot be seen

This bug, identified above, can be confirmed (seen) by :

( i ) set iPhone to "Dark Mode" (via path above)

( ii ) set installed iOS App "Gaudiya Calendar" to (non-default) "Calendar View" (via path above)

( iii ) set date to the date for "Gaura Purnima" 2022, (18 March 2022 - may be 17 or 19, depending on geographic location - objective is: pale green highlight on "Gaura Purnima" date, scroll up or down)

( tap, at center foot of App, Action > Go To Date > tap on current date > select, via calendar dialog which appears, 18 March 2022 > tap in white center box headed Change Date (above calendar dialog) > tap Go To Date at foot of white center box – very clunky, "un-Apple-like" )

(iv) once arrived at pale green highlight, on or about 18 March 2002, scroll pale green highlight up over information left + right of notch, at top of iPhone screen – information can be seen, rendered white, against pale green highlight – remaining rendered white, against white background, when pale green highlight scrolls past

NOTE :

(A) previous bugs (1) to (8) reported to senior member, G-Cal ( Gaudiya Calendar ) committee, who undertook to convey bugs (1) to (8) to iOS App developer

(B) many MONTHS later, no bugs fixed

(C) Apple iOS App Store entry for Gaudiya Calendar App shows NO Version History

( seems, NO bugs, EVER fixed )

(D) hence, these inelegant, clunky bug-reports via "Write a Review", in Gaudiya Calendar entry on Apple iOS App Store

( as iOS App developer, seems entirely unresponsive, to conventional communication, via G-Cal committee )

All, via iPhone 12 Pro Max, with several iOS versions, including current, iOS version 15•4

(1) when set ( non-default ) "Calendar View" instead of ( default ) "Today Screen", on first day, new lunar Vaishnava month, Calendar displays new month, but other information for that day is not shown, as is for all other days ( not first day of lunar month )

( e.g: day after Gaura Purnima, is the Festival of Jagannatha Misra, as shown in "Today Screen" but not shown in "Calendar View" – most first days of lunar month, are entirely missing, in 'Calendar View' somehow entirely obscured / omitted by notice as to new month ( e.g: new lunar month, two days after Nrsimha Caturdasi ) – "new month notice" needs to be part of that day's events, with the day, + all other events, displayed in "Calendar View", as for all other days – new month indication, should also be more prominent on ( default ) "Today Screen" )

(2) desktop version ( for Microsoft Windows ) shows moonrise time but iOS version doesn't – moon times need to be added to iOS version ( e.g: to know what time, after which, to break Gaura Purnima fast, after moonrise )

(3) similarly, desktop Windows version, shows old or new times, after which, to break various festival day fasts – iOS version entirely omits times to break fast ( except, after Ekadaśi )

(4) text content, can't be selected, by touch screen, nor copied, to paste elsewhere

(5) as iOS devices, are universally, touch-screen, it would be more Apple-like, to be able to "tap" on a day, in "Calendar View", to see that day's full "Today Screen" view, with all its detailed information – and to be able to "tap" in "Today Screen" view, to switch to "Calendar View" ( rather than clunky sequence of "tap" Settings > View Mode > Calendar + another 3 "tap" sequence, to switch back to initial view mode )

(6) it would also be more Apple-like, for notifications from Gaudiya Calendar App, to appear in the daily + monthly iOS Apple Calendar App ( as well as on iOS notification screen as at present ) – so that, when a person is entering planning information in iOS Apple Calendar App, days, weeks, or months, ahead, they can also clearly see Gaudiya Calendar events in iOS Apple Calendar App

(7) + more 2022, Apple-like, for "dark-mode" option to display white text against a black screen – except against prominent, dark-highlight color background, where currently highlight for Ekadaśi + other fasting days

(8) "tap" Action > Change Location (Select) - shows nothing, on screen, before or during keypad entry of location (until after entry, tap-select options appear, if no entry-typo mis-spelling, which can't be seen)

All, via iPhone 12 Pro Max, with several iOS versions, including current, iOS version 15•4

Overall, good first version, Gaudiya Calendar App for Apple iOS, very helpful for Gaudiya Vaishnavas, who may well-wish, sukriti upon the App developer

( with some bugs, needing to be ironed-out, for Sri Gaura Purnima – does Gaudiya Calendar App for Apple iOS, automatically 'push' updates via the Apple iOS App Store, so that all Gaudiya Calendar App users are notified, of bug-fix updates ? )
