I’m so happy to be able to see who comes into my driveway and front door. As soon as someone is there I get a notification and I can view it live on my phone, also can be viewed on multiple devices. I can talk through the app to whoever’s at my front door as the app has a setting for 2 way talk. Night recording is so clear as there are 2 options of inferred and smart mode. Easy set up and NO subscription fees to view content. I can also turn on the flood light and control how bright I want it. There is an option to record in SD or HD.

The only thing that I can suggest for improvement is having a better media player, when viewing a recording you have to use your fingers to slide to the specific time. Could you please add a fast forward button and when playing a clip or to have the option to speed up normal playtime (x0.5, x1.0, x3) when watching a saved file.

Setting up new device

Initially I had problem setting devices up in the locations where I wanted them to use, they just would not connect to my wifi. Resolved by setting up next to my router. After that they worked fine in the intended location. Big challenge was the hardwired flood sensor light, for that one I had go in to trouble of moving temporary my router close to the sensor light outside the house. Checking wifi strength in those locations shows 72,74,75 dBm, can’t understand why I couldn’t set them up in those intended location?

I am using wifi extender for one device, the par sensor light. My main problem with all grid connect devices that I have at home is process of pairing, which required for all my devices to place then in the same room with wifi router to st them up. Although they work well in other rooms after the initial setup.

Thank you for your feedback. The device require -70dBm or better signal strength (-60, -50) to maintain a reliable connection. We suggest using a range extender in between your router and the smart device to improve the signal strength.

Wow! Wow! Wow!

Amazing it’s all I can say for what you guys are providing! Well done. Would like to offer a suggestion that would push your rating to 6 stars! The most common nuisance with any smart device is when someone switches the light switch off your smart lights are no longer smart, even with a smart switch you have to switch the gang on and then your smart lights for dimming, Color change ect. Would be great if a smart switch would operate the light depending on the current status of the smart lights for example, if the light switch state is on but the smart lights have a current state of off when the switch changes its state then the lights change their current state in this example the state will now turn them on. This will be a game changing feature! Thanks for your continued improvements and hope that 2021 puts you guys on top of all other smart devices!
