Grim Quest tries to blend tabletop RPG vibes, familiar dungeon crawling and roguelike mechanics, and a classic turn-based combat system into an accessible and entertaining package. Because of its attention to written storytelling, detailed worldbuilding and abundance of lore, Grim Quest can be similar to a solo Dungeons and Dragons campaign, or even a choose your own adventure book.
Grim Quest is a single player game and can be played offline. It has no lootboxes, energy bars, overpriced cosmetics, content locked behind endless microtransactions, or other modern monetization schemes. Just a one-time purchase for the full game, and completely optional goodies for those who wish to support the game and its development.

That’s about it really, maybe it would be good to see items highlighted in the cauldron so you can see what possible items you can craft from ingredients in your inventory and stash, other that that great game thanks developer have purchased full game
Great game
I am all for Dungeons and Dragons style RPG’s, and this, as a mobile game, is a perfect blend. Good game to play on the go, and unlike classic RPG’s with groups, you can organise when you want to play this in an instant.
Only downside I’ve seen so far is the lack of description, or reminders, of what each description does. I had to flee to Google to search what the effect ARM was, however was quite dumfounded when I realised the simplicity in the answer, but still. All in all, great game for mobile, and is worth the $7.99 for the full game.
Just like a RPG
I don’t think I’ve ever left a app review before, but this game definitely deserves one.
Well crafted, well written, extremely atmospheric, absolutely ticks all my boxes. Only slight comment, is it needs a bit more music, but asides from that. Easily the best game on the App Store.
