In total I created four videos but it took almost 20 goes each to get what I was looking for and it was extremely frustrating especially when I was typing in what I wanted the video to do. Some videos were completely stationary and nothing was happening so I would recreate it only to get something else happening but not what I was typing in, and then if I typed in for the speech and I would type what I wanted them to say I would get all these different voices that were high-pitched or irrelevant and sounded very unprofessional and there was no way of selecting the voice that I wanted to use with the video which would have been so much more better in achieving what I wanted first go but as a result of this I had to keep creating the video over and over until I got a reasonably decent voice to use with the video. So as a result of this I then went to create a fifth video only to be told I had to upgrade and pay $50 a month even though I have this registered until 2026 and there is absolutely no way in God‘s great earth that I’m going to be paying $50 a month when this can’t even get it right the first time. I’m not made of money!When it does get it right it is wonderful but honestly how many times I had to re-create the same video over and over to perfect the voice was so frustrating. I hardly think I should be penalised because of that it should take into account the videos you download not the ones that are created, which obviously do not Account for anything because the only one that you would feel are relevant would be the ones you actually click save and download unless those four that I clicked to download are my limit for what I have purchased for a whole year which I think is if that is the case atrocious.🤬

During this time, I have experienced both the strengths and challenges of the service.However, developments over the past 3 months have been deeply disappointing. In response to widespread concerns regarding misuse, including non-consensual deepfakes and explicit content generation (notably in January 2026), xAI implemented significantly stricter content moderation policies across Grok Imagine. This has resulted in frequent refusals or blocks—even for innocuous or creative prompts—severely limiting the tool’s usability for legitimate image and video generation.Additionally, video generation capabilities, which previously offered more generous quotas (e.g., higher daily limits for short clips at resolutions like 480p/720p), appear to have been substantially reduced for SuperGrok users, often leading to rate limits being reached after only 20–40 attempts within short periods (such as 8–12 hours). Failed or moderated generations still count toward these limits, further diminishing value. Response quality in some cases feels slower or less capable, contributing to an overall perception of reduced performance despite the premium subscription cost.As a long-term supporter who valued the platform’s earlier emphasis on creative freedom and advanced features, these changes represent a significant departure from what initially drew me to SuperGrok. Regrettably, I have decided to cancel my subscription and would not recommend it in its current state.
