Ratings and Reviews
Forced login with MS, Apple or Google. No generic sign in
As others have mentioned. Forces login through either, Microsoft, Apple or Google account. Even though it provides a sign-up option for generic details, you then can’t sign in with those details. Absolutely ridiculous.
Most people don’t want to use those accounts for a camp app just to view basic info and log maintenance requests or book some sporting stuff.
This is a step backwards from the original app. And please don’t tell me it’s a benefit to use one of the big three accounts for signing in. It’s data harvesting and not something I’m interest in doing for a non-essential service. Very disappointing.

Hi There!
Thank you for sharing your thoughts, and we’re sorry to hear about your frustrations with the sign-in process. SSO (Single Sign-On) was implemented to make the login experience easier and more streamlined for users by eliminating the need for managing multiple passwords. This approach allows users to sign in quickly using their Microsoft, Apple, or Google accounts without the hassle of remembering additional login details.
We understand that this may not be ideal for everyone, and we appreciate your feedback. We're always looking to improve the experience and ensure the app works in the way that best suits our users.
Thank you for your patience, and we’ll continue working to enhance the app moving forward.

Nightmare log ins and security concerns
The log on is a nightmare. You’re forced to log in via Google/Apple/Microsoft. Even if you select sign in by email it’s a trap- it forces you thru Microsoft anyway.
I’m furious to be forced to link my personal Microsoft account. Way to add to peoples worries!!!!!!
Watch as the developers respond with the same copy paste rubbish response. Don’t pretend it’s for streamlining the process for users- it’s the opposite!! It makes it harder and forces us to risk data we don’t want to.
This app is to get some basic info only, why do you make it so painful ?!

Hi There!
We understand your frustration with the login process. SSO was implemented as the most secure method, removing the need to create and manage separate passwords. Our first-gen app had a high number of password reset requests as users often forgot their credentials. There are no security concerns with this method—SSO (through Google, Apple, and Microsoft) is widely used by major companies for many services. That said, we appreciate your feedback—could you share more details on what specifically made the process difficult for you?

Sketchy
This app asks for far too many permissions through your Microsoft email account and it won’t let you log in with anything but your Microsoft email and Microsoft password.. Giving no option to keep my personal emails password safe I have uninstalled the app as there’s something sketchy about an app that forces you to give it your personal passwords.
Developer Response ,
Hey Ash,
Hope you're well - so sorry for the delayed response here!
To make registering and accessing our app easier - we have developed single sign-on through: Apple, Google and Microsoft so far. No more passwords to remember for our app!
This means that if you are using a hotmail account to register/sign in (for example), this uses Microsoft's secure authentication service to complete your sign in and prove that you are who you say you are - all the data we get as a result are the email address, first name and last name from Microsoft (hence the permissions request) to create your guesst. profile and you're good to go from there.
Hope this all makes sense and please let me know if you have any further concerns.
Would be great to get you on the app!
Thanks,
Guesst Support Team
