App is not very accurate or reliable. Once it told me that the car was unlocked, so I had to leave what I was doing and walk a reasonable distance to where it was parked. The car was locked. Also, it often takes 4 or 5 tries to show the car’s correct location. Starting and stopping the engine remotely is unreliable.

The idea of this app is great, other companies have had theirs out for some time, but Honda need to make some changes. My app signs me out frequently, which almost defeats the purpose of it entirely. Every app function is incredibly slow, which can be due to a number of factors like reception where the car is etc but even so I am yet to experience a timely response from the app. The commands available aren’t as clear as they could be. Turning on the heating/cooling for the car before you get in it would be a great use case but internal temperate is described as “low, medium or high”. My dealer mentioned this was the first time the app was being used in Australia, so I’m hoping for updates to improve it

This would have to be the most glitchy app on my phone. It barely ever works. I need to refresh the app about 10 times before it has refreshed the connection with my car, and even then the features rarely work. Attempting the ownership verification always ends in being locked out of the process, even when I follow the correct procedures. Sometimes the app won’t even open on my phone, I then have to uninstall it completely and reinstall it. This needs major work, and in its current state you should not be advertising that new Hondas have connected features in Australia.
