The Housing Assist Qld app is free and you can use it to access a range of housing services online and at any time in the comfort of your own home.
You can:
• Check the balance of your Bond Loan
• Obtain the payment barcode to make Bond Loan payments at any Australia Post outlet
• Check the status of your Bond Loan or Rental Grant application
• Update your Bond Loan or Rental Grant contact details
• Update your social housing application contact details
• Access to an online tool to find housing services in Queensland that may suit your needs.
And much more - anytime you like!
If you’re a public housing tenant, you can download the Tenant Assist Qld app to check your rent balance and keep us up to date with your tenancy and more.

Great app
Easy to obtain and submit relevant info.
Difficult to use
First glance looks ok but when I tried to fill it out it I found it contained way too text heavy for a mobile app. Some labels / option are so long-winded I felt like reading a whole essay and all required fields took ages to scroll through. I gave up and called the service centre and got my request in quickly.
On the plus side I do like the handy balance search function but the rest of the app needs some trimming to make it user friendly and easy to complete and submit.
Significant improvement over previous version!
