HP Deskjet 4121e (HP + printer)
Purchased the cheapest printer I could find, from Harvey Norman on the Boxing Day sales as I only use a printer every now & then. I did the install via my IPhone and could not believe how easy it was. Easily connected to WIFI and I am so happy that I can print from my phone 😀 HP offered a 6 months trial of Insta Ink, but I decided not to subscribe due to the limited amount of printing I do.
Frim the app is showed how to scan, which was the easiest scan I have ever done, just took a picture from my iPhone pressed auto & pressed . pdf I could not be more happy as I scan everything that comes in the post, warranties etc. it has an ADF which comes in very handy. U can’t speak highly enough of my small investment. This purchase made my year, with the cost of living causing so much grief to people, I almost did not think I could afford a new printer. Thank you HP, you have a very happy customer in me 🙃🙃
Very handy
I wish I had this app back when I was in High School this would’ve saved me so much stress!
Nowadays I rarely need to print things but when the time comes that I need something printed from my phone, this simple app is really handy. Was so easy to find my printer on the app, no hassle whatsoever.
There’s something satisfying about touching the print button on my iPhone and 30 seconds later you start to hear the printer working from another room.
Definitely recommend especially for office workers or students!
Complicated, fiddly and frustrating
Setting up the HP Deskjet 2721 printer has taken me a whole evening. I wanted it to print from my windows laptop as well as from my iPhone. Each step was tortuously baffling with many dead-ends. The virtual assistant was also pretty useless. I’m not sure if it’s working fully yet but have managed to print a few documents now from both devices so it’s probably ok. Can’t face setting up the scanner tonight as well - too exhausted from all the hassle. Also, the power cord connection to the printer is flimsy as hell and the power stopped several times due to the wobbly connection. And the first few printed pages were very patchy and streaked. So all in all I’m pretty disappointed with this printer and wish I had bought something different.
