Looked at purchasing the pro version, OUCH!!! 😡$47!!! Way too much. It’s good, but not THAT good! As a pensioner, it’s a fortune to me. Sad!😞Feb 2021 Just checked the upgrade price again, still the same. Obviously not concerned with people who may be a little financially challenged. Out of principle I refuse! I think that the creator/s of mSecure are a little like the people who make apps like this necessary, just taking from a different area! Has it occurred to you that if you halved your grab for money that you may even INCREASE your profits as many more will be able to purchase. Bless people, don’t be a leech!Actually apologies for unloading on you, guess my frustration boiled over. Sometimes it seems like everyone is on the take in this world. I know that there is a lot of time and work in creating an app. Just remember, it’s more blessed to give than receive! It’s a fact that givers are happier than takers. Have a good one!

There is a push by software providers to only allow online storage of personal data. MSecure responded to customer demand to allow the customer to choose where they store their data. Congratulations for putting customer needs over software ideology. The app does everything required of a password manager superbly!
Very disappointing

This is an app that I have used for several years with high recommendations of it to family members and friends due to its the layer of security, ease of use, and it’s provision of access for short periods without the need to log in every time retrieval of data is required. Whilst never overly enthusiastic with the often unnecessary changes the developers made to the app’s overall look and method of data entry , I was always able to adapt to the new requirements. But the recent change that took away the ability to use the app without continually having to log in, plus the demand to pay a fairly hefty annual subscription in order to retain the usage features that were, up to now FREE - caused me to rethink my need for it. Don’t get me wrong … I have no objection paying for apps IF they carry a one-off purchase fee but I refuse to pay for apps that require annual subscriptions and/or payment for features that have been previously provided at no cost to users. I am very aware that the “mSeven” developers have ‘graciously’ provided a free version but this does not provide the once available short time unlimited log-in feature or Cloud syncing. The removal of syncing, which will result in irretrievable data loss if the phone is list/stolen and erased, is, as far as I am concerned, is the equivalent of blackmail: either pay up or accept the consequences!So … it’s Goodbye “mSeven” developers from me. Your greed has caused this long term user to reluctantly move on. 🫤👋
Always issues when changing phones

I have paid for and been using this app for over 6 years. Every time I change to a new phone I have issues. This time it asked me to reset the password on the new phone, but when I logged in it said there were 116 entries but none were visible. Went back to my old phone and the version I had on my PC, but it wiped those as soon as I logged in. Support advise me this is a function of the reset process, but I did not see any warnings about that when going through the process. Now I have lost 116 password records from years of use. Lesson learned, no trust in electronic password systems any more.

I'm not sure what happened, because as long as you know the password for your mSecure account, setting up the app on a new device should be a very straight-forward process. It sounds like you are talking to our support team about this, so they should be offering options for trying to locate a backup of your data to restore from. mSecure has auto-backup features, so I'm confident we'll be able to help you retrieve your information.
