ADHD MODE FOR ADHD BRAINS
Some brains need extra stimulation to focus best. That’s why people with ADHD fidget when they’re trying to pay attention. Brain.fm provides this kind of stimulation through music. There’s even a boost option specifically for ADHD. Think of brain.fm as a fidget spinner for your brain!
BETTER THAN BINAURAL BEATS
Binaural beats and isochronic tones also use brainwave entrainment, but brain.fm does it better. We use patented A.I. on top of human-composed music to help you find your flow faster than binaural beats or other brainwave entrainment audio.

I love this app, however I think that a single payment upgrade would be much better than signing up to a subscription. This turned me away and I will not be getting a subscription, however if it were a one time payment like most other apps then I would. People don’t like commitment, I’m sure it’s not just me that’s been turned away because of this. As good and helpful the app is, it’s really is not worth $6.99 per month. Maybe a $10 one time purchase at most. At the end of the day it’s just music/ sounds not too different from anything you can find on the internet for free! Nevertheless Ive loved using the app and its a shame to have to say goodbye to it! Hope you take this review in to consideration :)
Amazing sounds, really bad service and app

I have been using brain waves for over 2 years and I really love the sounds and how well they work. The team have done a great job. When it comes to customer service it seems none existent. I have sent a number of emails regarding issues I was having with the app and have never received any communication back. I’m a yearly subscriber paying good money for the service and I’m getting no support. First issue: Sleep mode is forever stopping before the timer is up. Second issue:When you start a session the timer starts and continues even if you spend 5 mins searching for the right sound. It should reset the timer when you skip tracks. Third issue:The app is always logging me out and saying my session has expired. I don’t see any use for this at all. Fourth issue: When the session expires it no longer lets me log in and tells me my log in details are incorrect. The only way I can fix this is by reinstalling the app. This is very annoying especially when you are about to sit down for a calming meditation. Fifth issue: when I try and reset my password it tells me my email is incorrect. Sixth issue: Uppercase enabled in email field and unable to change a single character. Seventh issue: Still no landscape support for iPad. This app could be one of the best out there if these smaller details are addressed. It’s expensive and people should get what they pay for. This is the most expensive app I have in my account and it gives me the most issues. Please address them or I will be canceling my account and trying something else.
Great for work focus

I use this mostly when I need to focus in the workplace and am blocking out distractions. I used up my free package over a couple of months so was happy to pay to keep the access. Since then I've used the sleep & nap only a couple of times. With the sleep package, I'd like to see it for timeframes under 6 hours, especially as I like to use these as a means to help get to sleep but I don't want to be plugged in for at least 6 hours. For this reason, I'm more inclined to use the 'Nap' stream just so I can use it for 30-45 mins.
Helpful, but.

App needs improvement. It crashes often and their is no ability to resume a session where you paused. It would also be better if it was possible for the user to clear the “Jump back in” section. Or just don’t have it, as their isn’t really any point where it just restarts the session anyway (isn’t really jumping back in). I understand that it is still likely a work in progress, so that doesn’t really bother me too much, just thought I’d point it out. It’s also ridiculously expensive for what it is, but I can see that coming down one day when perhaps if it gains more users. I’ll see that day out, because the music has been pretty helpful for my studies. Any prospective users, stick to the web app for now, it’s much more refined, and functional. Hope this helps.
