I am currently trialing the pro version for a month. After a few practice sessions using an iPhone 11, I decided to make a jig to hold my phone. This allows me to quickly set up and give me the ability to use it indoors or out.I was noticing that my distances were well under what I think I get on the course. I was becoming sceptical about the data , so I got my son to bring over his Rapsodo MLM2 and we run them concurrently. To my surprise the data from the Rapsodo and ShotVision were very similar in certain aspects. The biggest difference was club speed. Carry distance was erratic but at times very close. Launchpad angle was extremely consistent and quite often less than .5 of a degree!For what it is I can’t help but praise ShotVision on the quality of their app. For less than the cost of 1 golf lesson , I can have a years access to data that can and will help me improve my game.I am not saying it’s as good as a home launch monitor like the Rapsodo or the Garmin, but it is an excellent alternative at a fraction of the cost.

Was able to go through the full version of the app and whilst there are still adjustments to be made I found it very good. Especially on the wedges. I was able to hit my numbers almost bang on most of the time. Of course just like many of the launch monitors it is prone to a misread here and there but you can simply delete that and get an accurate reading on the averages. Very excited to take these numbers on course and see how dialed in they are.

Great product but room to improve

A great app for the price, irons etc are accurate for distances. 3 hybrid seems on the money also, driver I think may need some improvement in accuracy of spin and distance carried. However regardless of actual distance, I can tell when I hit a ball sweetly with the drive ( or any club) that the distance is further than trying to hit the cover off the ball. So for me getting my rhythm will show me how much better I can hit the ball. Then take to course and a few practice hits will get me my distance. Only trialled for a week but am going to purchase for 12 months. Hoping for some minor improvements as the boys get some cash in , cheers and thanks from Boof in Australia.

I love and it’s ease of use, but after hitting into a net I took it to a range, first shot, 7i went 200m, problem was it was a mis-hit and was luck to make the 50m marker. Some numbers seem fine, others seem way off.

Another issue you might be experiencing is vibration, especially considering your miss hit that went 200, be sure to put a folded golf towel or something shock absorbent under the tripod or device to minimize vibration.All the best
