Q: Is this for beginners or experienced tuners?
A: Both. Experienced tuners use it to save time and typically run higher oversteer settings. Newer tuners use it to learn how to tune and make sure the cars are stable after upgrading.
Q: How do I use the app?
A: Copy several car details from the game into ForzaTune, hit "Calculate" and copy the results into the tuning menu in Forza Motorsport or Forza Horizon. There is also a series of video tutorials on YouTube to get you started.
Q: What settings and upgrades do I need?
A: You will need racing upgrades like suspension, braking, anti-roll bars, and differential to change the values in the tuning menu. You can also use drift, rally and adjustable stock suspensions when available (like off-road buggies and some trucks in Horizon). You will also have the best results if you disable stability management (STM) and traction control (TCS) for lower class cars. Normal or simulation steering is fine.
Q: Why is tuning your cars important?
A: Upgrades can change how the car feels (for better or worse). ForzaTune lets you bring it back to a setup you can enjoy. Also, tuning doesn't affect your PI or race restrictions, so this is how you can gain an advantage in races.

I seemed to be at the limit of my abilities then you come up with this new tuning and calculator which, for me, is just awesome, mate, thanks for all your efforts it certainly has got my interest back into the game as I can now challenge, and only sometimes beat, some great times and racers. I have the “Keys to Speed” which also helped immensely. I’m far from the fastest out there however this app and course is a must if you wish to take it up a few pegs, just the understanding alone is worth the costs and that internal grin you get when you beat that elusive time. Started using since Horizon 2, got rock solid baseline tuning every time and the app has only gotten more intuitive with every new iteration!Going straight to Pro is an easy purchase and would wholeheartedly recommend it to any Forza player looking to put time and effort into their builds.

It helps understand the basics

Can’t really fault the app overall and has helped me a lot over the past year, even if I don’t like the exact tune settings, It’s something to go off and fine tune yourself. Downside is there’s no option for tuning for race/circuit. There’s standard, drift, drag and rain. So if you’re trying to tune a car for a circuit or sprint, then you’re best of watching a video or if you aren’t fussy, someone else’s tune.

Thanks for the review! One clarification - "standard" tune is for race/circuit. The app was originally only for racing on track (FM) and we expanded out to many other tune types over time. I will make this a bit clearer moving forward. Thanks again.
The tunes are great, but…

Has 2 main issues:1: The tunes are prone to understeer significantly on throttle by default, making corner exit feel very powerless. Sometimes tune corner exit to be 130 oversteer might not even be enough2: not EV-friendly in FH5, mainly because some EV doesn’t have motor related upgrades, therefore cannot see the torque graph, and the gear tuning options doesn’t have gear count less than 4, so tuning gears for cars like Nio EP9 and Porsche Taycan is impossible
