I am a native speaker and I downloaded this because I was interested and wanted to test myself on advanced vocabulary. There a lot of words without needing a subscription and some words (especially related to religion) I had never heard of before. Other advanced words other native speakers probably wouldn’t know would only come up in writing/books, but some are really weird and either outdated or extremely unusable. I’ve never sat an English exam like TOEIC so they might have strange words in there but I don’t think a second English speaker would be able to differentiate what are used or not and it would be a waste of time trying to remember it.Also, it’s just personal preference but the AI images aren’t incredibly pleasing to look at and some are just a randomly generated mess. I understand it’s better than just putting the word on the screen or easier than hiring illustrators but it just makes the app look low quality.

My subscription got canceled

I subscribed for WordUp essential in June. I didn’t use the app for a while and when I tried it again last month, my subscription was gone. The app apparently has updated to a newer version and logged me out. When I tried to log in again using apple Id, it forgot my subscription and progress. Can someone help me with this issue?

I love this app, I use it everyday, it is so good, but unfortunately in the last three days I only can see 10 pictures and then it appears a message of “show more” so I need to pay if I want to see the pictures, I was ok watching constantly adds every eight words but now I can not associate words with pictures which it is sad
