This is a seriously good pinball game. What you’d expect from Williams. Gameplay is truly immersive and you feel like a kid in your local milk bar at the beach after surfing. Wasting the afternoons in front of your fave machine.Ah. … wasted adolescence !!But please Mr Williams let us progress easier on space station level 2. Impossible to earn credits and progress without paying cash. Come on. You earn heaps from indirect so let us old cheapskates through!!….?? Ok??Cool. That’s all!!
Great but heavily skewed pay 2 play

A huge money spinner for Williams takes away from the fact it is a great game to play. Unlocking tables is a huge grind or expensive. Multiple in game currencies to help obscure how much things cost. It’s approximately a $15 spend to unlock a table. I’ve played several hours and enjoy it but won’t spend any real money which, limits my ability to progress as you can only complete a limited number of challenges per day. The game uses loot box mechanics so it’s nearly impossible to unlock the tables or options you seek. The optional in game advertising to gain extra arcade tickets is pretty full on too.The gameplay itself and graphics are great, the nudge mechanics are the only place I see room for improvement.
Good looking, weird grind, bad nudge, lots of tables!

On a big iPad the tables look great! Daily challenges are pretty fun, though uneven: some nearly impossible, some v. easy. I love Theatre of Magic, Mars Attacks, Black Rose. I would be nice to be able to turn off some tables I loathe in the challenges, like Circus Voltaire.Don’t buy Z credits or tickets or whatever. Even if you think you bought a four star table, you need to grind for tickets, or pay again for them. If you just play and play over months you’ll get everything eventually anyway. Some nudge controls (eg gyroscope) just don’t work. Super annoying that tilt is so sensitive with some controls, this is the weakest part of the controls.
I’m a kid again

This takes me back to summers misspent in a dodgy arcade in a little seaside town, milk bars after school and being dragged out of pool halls by my mother to do my homework and not waste my money and time on such frivolous pursuits. It brings me joy every day.It would be nice to be able to use haptics eg. being able to nudge the device I’m playing it on (generally an iPad) rather than a screen swipe, but maybe that’s too complicated.Another thought is maybe attaching a reward when you win a free game - either tickets, tokens or parts. It’s a bit of a let down to win a free game on an app when every game is free. Make it worth something when you get one!Oh and any chance of more tables?Seriously, that is all I can come up with and even then, these are minor points.Simply one of my favourite apps.I’M PLAYING PINBALL AGAIN!!!
