Diarium helps you keep a private diary and daily journal for memories, photos, mood, travel, gratitude, and everyday notes without ads or subscriptions.
Capture what happened today, add the details that matter, and build a personal timeline you can return to for years. Write quick reflections or longer entries, attach rich media, and keep your journal protected with password, PIN, Face ID, or Touch ID.
What you can do with Diarium:
• Write a personal diary, daily journal, gratitude journal, bullet journal, photo diary, or travel journal
• Add photos, drawings, audio recordings, files, tags, people, ratings, and locations
• Track mood with star ratings and tracker tags
• Revisit memories in calendar, timeline, and travel map views
• Use lists and text formatting for notes, reflections, and routines
• Set daily reminders to make journaling a habit
• Add day context from your camera roll, calendar, weather, tasks, workouts, social activity, and entertainment activity
• Import from Apple Journal and supported diary apps such as Day One, Diaro, Journey, Daylio, Diarly, Daybook, and Evernote
• Back up your diary database and export entries as Word, HTML, JSON, or plain text
Your journal can continue with you across supported phone, tablet, laptop, and desktop versions. Optional sync uses your own cloud storage, including iCloud, OneDrive, Google Drive, Dropbox, or WebDAV, so no separate Diarium account is required.
Diarium is designed for long-term journaling: daily thoughts, family memories, trips, photos, gratitude, feelings, and the small moments that make up your life. It stays personal, flexible, and secure, whether you write every day or whenever something is worth remembering.
Diarium is free to use with optional Diarium Pro for advanced features such as sync, unlimited attachments per entry, Word export for printing, connected feeds, custom fonts, widgets, and weather in entries. Pro features can be tested for 7 days after installing.
Diarium Pro is a one-time purchase, not a subscription. The purchase is linked to your Apple ID and unlocks Pro for iOS/iPadOS; a separate Pro purchase may be required on other platforms.
This app has everything I could wish for in a diary/journaling app, even functionalities I didn’t know I needed. I tried out many diary apps to find one that suits my needs best, and they were either very limited, requiring you to have a subscription, or not quite right for me. I was immediately sold when I found Diarium and its many functionalities. Its only weakness is that it won’t sync up with other different devices unless you buy the pro version in those devices separately.Edit: my iPhone and Mac use the same App Store account but they still require the pro version to be bought separately, which is unfortunate

Thanks a little t for your kind review! Happy you are enjoying the app!A single pro version can be used on multiple devices as long as they are using the same App Store account. The pro version is linked to the App Store account that it is bought with :)
An honest review

I have tried nearly every diary App in the store. I wanted to start a journal. In my opinion this was the Best one. Not overly bloated and it actually does sync without dramas across devices. Its clear, clean and has a lot of options. I'm even tracking the moon phases as a point of interest. This App is actually saving my mental health! Purely through the fact that I can get my thoughts out of my head. I use it on my phone through the day, then handwrite with my tablet at night just to get the 'writing' benefit. Can not recomend this any higher than 5 stars or I would. Thank you to the Dev. This is really helping me 😊

Exactly what I was looking for in a diary app

I love that it is a one-time buy with no subscription, and the ability to sync via the service of your choice. I am using it on my iPad and iPhone so only had to purchase it once. Syncing is fast. Using dictation I’ve added a month’s worth of entries from my old manual journal in ten minutes. Love the ability to add a photo to each day’s entry, and the ability to feed in items from a variety of apps, eg. Calendar. The Search facility is great too.
What a fabulous diary

I looked at quite a number of diary apps as I did not want to invest many hours in an app and for it to be a waste of time. Diarium is easy to use (functionality is logical), has the functionality I most want (importantly letting me add pics and videos), syncs easily between range of devices, and so on and so on. I am now investing a lot of time in it going back in time to compile almost like a chronicle of my life. It is a great way to remind old memories
• Fixed migration/import issues, including Apple Journal and Day One imports
• Fixed adding some screen recordings and vertical videos
• Fixed a few crashes and UI issues
• Added Vietnamese translation and updated translations
