I’ve heard about MagellanTV for awhile now, and finally decided to check it out. I had tried a few similar streaming services, and was unimpressed with the content, but MagellanTV have plenty of interesting shows I can sink into…however, the app is inferior to its competitors. There’s no ability to have screen in screen, so if you have to use another app, the show just stops…it doesn’t even continue the audio. I’ve also had a lot of trouble with airplay. The app we’re told to use with the Samsung tv does not work, and when I try AirPlay, it connects *sometimes* but only once have I been able to get visual as well as audio, most of the time I can hear it, but I’m staring at a blank screen. With work, MagellanTV would definitely be a 5 star, but it really needs to lift its app game.

This streaming service is the best I have tried out, and I've tried quite a few. All the shows are quality and interesting, spoilt for choice ....I would highly recommend trying it .🌻
Great content, bad app

I absolutely love the content on Magellan TV, but the app is a mess. Standard features you get in every other player are missing - there’s no buttons to skip forward or back 10-15 seconds, no “next episode” button, and no picture-in-picture. Adding to that, it’s buggy. If I go out of the app to check something else, then return, half the time the video won’t play again and I have to force quit the app. The UI is clunky and slow to load. Sometimes the video will just go black but sound is still playing, leaving force quitting the app the only remaining option.It’s an otherwise great service at a good price, but the app lets it down. I don’t think I will continue my subscription with the app in its current state.

Great selection, as far as the app goes I have had a small issue where subtitles/closed captions haven’t worked for a few days . This is on two separate devices.
