I quite enjoy this app as a substitute for procreate on my school iPad, especially in the animation sector. What I think would really make this app even better would be the option for audio in the animation area, and maybe some free-er features like seeing how long something took or the ruler. It’s okay to have a premium, but not when some of the most vital or most useful tools are behind a paywall. If I want other features, I’ll buy the other features, but paying for features that should be free? Yeah, nah. There’s still a lot of improvement to be had, but overall, 4/5 stars. It’s a good app with lots of good qualities but lots of room for improvement. Recent note: Rotation on app has stopped working. Will not rotate selected object. Please fix this it’s really inhibiting my ability to draw.

So this app has lots of different features. I rate this 3 stars because of the hard features and design and what they do not have. To start off we have lots of different canvas which is a 7\10. This app also has this shape feature where they can make it perfect. The problem of this is that if I try to draw a square it comes as a whole different shape. 2\10. This app also has this very cool thing where you can make your artwork sharp which is very cool and amazing. 8\10. This also has tools like alpha lock which locks it and only you can draw in the area duplicate where you can double to drawing. Layers which organises different parts of the drawing. Combine layers where you can combine all parts which is 6\10. This app also has a bunch of drawing features to add touch like luminosity which makes it black and white and calm lake which makes it look like sunrise. 9\10. Blending tools are not that good which takes a long time. You have to smudge parts of it. Unlike procreate you just press blur and it takes 2 seconds. 1\10. Next we have colour wheel which shows all colours. 6\10. We have the brush’s also which has so many things like texture and glow and airbrush and more. 10\10. The only problem is that when you draw with them is that is does not have stability and motion filters which is disappointing. Next we have the zoom which you can zoom in your art work. Next we have colour find. Just grab a colour and use another press the button and brings you to the colour on the brush. Next we have the basics size and opacity where you can change the value of these things. Explore your own creative by making your own brush’s. 4\10 because it is hard to tell things and not many features.

Who ever made this your my saviour ,this app is sooo good and easy to use .it took me a little while to get the hang of it but it’s sooo clever and just awesome:) I don’t mind the adds because they show me a wider variety of drawing apps that I didn’t even know about . The brushes are so clever and they come in so many different patterns and designs if I could recommend one I would say either brick texture or like a old stone pattern. It’s practically free pro create but better in my opinion. It’s a good option because if your someone who enjoys art but are not like if there’s one free moment you feel like your wasting art time because I’m one of those people who doesn’t do art every second of every day and I prefer iArtbook to procreate because if you don’t like it then you can just delete iArtbook but if you get procreate and decide it wasn’t what you think it was then you feel like you wasted your money but there’s no kind of guilt with iArtbook. Also I recommend some type of Apple Pencil because that’s really helpful.:)

I love this app and it has a variety of brushes the other app I use doesn't have, but there's complications with some of the brushes being laggy and slow to respond. As well as not being able to know how long the piece took to complete. As someone who posts their art online with the time of completion, it’s annoying not knowing how long it took and the only way I saw to know on this app, is to pay for a premium version, when something like this shouldn't be necessary to pay for. But if you can get past the time issue as lagging, it's a great app and is similar to higher ranking apps like procreate.
