LightHouse Locate shows lighthouses and the light characteristic of them.
The adress and the characteristics are fethed from the swedish company Eniro’s map.
If you find errors, please let me know.
The app is not a professional tool!
Check against professional nautical chart etc.
For the moment there is more than 600 lighthouses, mainly from Sweden. Some from Norway, Finland and Denmark
One can select and deselect some areas (west coast, east coast for ex.)
When you hit a PIN on the map the distans and direction will be shown. Also the lighthouse characteristic and a image with light(flash .etc)
The greatest feature of the app is that you can aim the Iphone against a lighthouse and get the name etc.
The app says the lighthouse name in the selected language. Select language in “SET LANGUAGE” view.
Some label texts will also be changed depending on selected language. Swedish, english, german, norweigan, dannish and finnish is available.
Explanation and most of the labels will be shown in selected language.
For all other language this help text and Lighthouse view will be english.
The app will always talk in selected language.
