This app has the greatest data input for tracking habits that I’ve ever seen in any app. It is a joy to tick off your habits in this app. The condensed input widgets are a game changer too. Unfortunately the data visualisation are basic at best. There are no real options for customising data views or comparing data of with interchangeable widgets or views. The lack of more visualisation options is the difference between this being an ok app and the perfect habit tracker for me. I’d pay for the premium version of this this app just for the input experience if there were a way to integrate the data with another service. I can see that I can download a .csv file which is nice, but without a way to automate integration with an app with better visualisations, manual csv downloads are too clunky for my needs.

Awesome Habits is hands down the best habit tracker!
Nicko1982
I’ve tried many similar apps, but Awesome Habits stands out as the best by far! It’s incredibly user-friendly and well-designed. I’ve already recommended it to many people as the top habit and streaks tracker. Some have even started using it as a general reminder app, finding it very easy to create multiple reminders for recurring tasks. It’s simple, effective, and a joy to use! There is one feature I would love to see added. When I set multiple reminders for a habit, notifications continue even after the habit has been marked as complete. It would be great to have an option to toggle notifications on or off for a habit once it’s completed. This would make an already awesome app even better!
Developer Response
Thank you very much for your positive review! We greatly appreciate your support! If you complete a habit, the upcoming notifications should be canceled automatically. But if the notification is scheduled shortly after you've completed the habit, it may still appear on other devices. This is because it may take several minutes for other devices to register the new status and cancel the notification. We are aware that this is not ideal and will definitely consider improvements for future updates. If you think there might be another problem, please let us know at feedback@awesome-habits.com, we'll be happy to help!

Does all the basics well, looks good and has great statistics. The unheralded feature for me is the ability to count the number of actions completed, even if you go above your daily goal. I.e. if I have read 10 pages a day as a goal, I can set it up so I can count the exact number of pages I have read in a given day. So maybe I lose my streak, but I can see my reading habit with more detail over the course of the week, and using the “average” figure, I can see whether I’ve exceeded my goal in any given time period (I.e. if my average is above 10 during the week, I know while I might not have read 10 pages every day, over the course of the week I have hit the mark).
Great habit tracking app

I’m loving Awesome Habits (have it on my Mac, phone and watch). Pretty much as soon as I started using it I could see how useful it could be, started the free Premium trial and am now a Premium subscriber. I especially love the watch app, it has easily the best UI of all the habit tracking apps I’ve tried using from my watch. The fact that it also has a Mac app and widgets for both Mac and phone is a bonus. The one feature that I would like to see is the ability to set a unit other than 1 for count (e.g. if I have a goal to write 500 words in a day, I’d like to be able to tap once for each 100 words that I write). Even without this feature it’s pretty much a 5 star app for me.
• Decimal values: Counted habits now accept decimals, so you can track values like 1.5 mi or 12.5 fl oz with up to two decimal places.
• Custom circle tap action: Choose what tapping a habit's circle does: add a custom amount or ask you for the value every time. Find it in Edit habit, under the goal section – tap "Show more".
• Seconds for timed goals: Set timed goals down to the second, and see the seconds count live right on the Home tab.
• Start your week on any day: Pick any day of the week as your start of week, not just Sunday or Monday.
