It’s grate but needs some finishing touches

I love it but I would love to add recipes to the machine not my phone and I would like the guide to be more fluid and idiot proof. The option to have some of the recipes intuitive as in if you want to make a double recipe it knows what to add. Also the reverse function is a mystery to me as to how to use it. And yes I read the instructions. It goes without saying that if it connects to the internet why can’t we have community recipes.

Smart Thermo Cooker User ,

Functional but could be tweaked to be awesome

This app is functional for cooking custom added recipes, however it would be VERY useful to be able to upload these onto the thermo cooker so you don’t have to use just your phone to cook them. Would also be great to be able to download recipes from a community database or have a link to a community forum.

Some of the recipes aren’t quite there yet....

Hi guys! I love my machine so far. I upgraded from Aldi’s Mistral Thermocooker to this one and love the touch functionality and that it has preloaded recipes etc.

But...

I made the brownie recipe and it asks for the sugar twice, I picked up on it so didn’t follow the mistake: brownies turned out well although required extra baking time... I added an extra 6minutes. Might work with a higher heat at the original time though... I’ll keep experimenting. (I have a new fan forced oven so it’s pretty accurate temperature wise)

I made the espresso martini... the sugar is not required! At all! An espresso martini isn’t supposed to be sweet to the point where it’s un-palatable... same recipe without sugar would be perfection.

I then made the veg soup last night and had to dispose of it because the setting for the onion step was too high (blade speed) and it caused the onion to have its natural defence reaction making the onion taste like poison

..I then gave it another go tonight, chopped the onion at a lower speed with the garlic and sautéed these two ingredients with oil for 15 minutes at 100 degrees, then did other veg and stock etc... turned out ok... I’ll make it without the recipe from now on until it’s tweaked on the app.

When I made the soup again tonight I had to wait an hour and a half before I could blitz it in the machine as it doesn’t allow for blade speed higher than 4 if the machine is 60 degrees or higher.

So there are a few things I’ve found but it’s day 5 with having the machine in our kitchen so will keep experimenting.

It would be amazing if you could include a good ice cream base recipe (like the mistral machines cookies and cream recipe or the peanut butter ice cream). I know you’ve got the healthy one available but having the good basis for making any ice cream would be awesome. I kept some of my old recipes from my first machine so I can do them
In the new machine.

Happy so far given the machine is so new and still kinda being developed as it’s being released.

Looking forward to an update
