I have attempted to learn Japanese many times in the past and never managed to complete katakana. I have tried different textbooks and methods but they don’t seem to stick. I tried Benkyo and have finished kana. I’m heading to kanji now. I’m not sure if I will succeed this time, but I’m making progress. The flash card systems really helps. I can do review any time. Have 15 minute break from work, review 50 flash cards. Waiting for my spouse in the shopping mall, review 100 flash cards. This is not the all-in-one tool. I still have to practice more using other materials, but Benkyo helps make the learning process more tolerable for me.
Only one ended up using

This is the most organised and better working I have found so far; any other is just miles away. The only thing I am missing is a quick way to select a group of kanjis and save them in a custom list. At the moment it seems the only way is clicking on the detail of each kanji and assigned them one by one: ideally I would select a bunch of them and assign them to a list.
Great app with greater potential

Dear Devs, I’ve been loving the app and I’ll probably get a subscription soon. The A.I generated cards and statistical and analysis of my progress visually represented is very nice. But it would be nice if I can make my own cards which I understand might not be able to integrate with A.I but it can still be use with normal SRS. From what I see people who are really into studying Japanese they’ll still go back to ANKI so they can study their own created study cards. This app has the potential to be the one stop shop for all things related to Japanese SRS. So I look forward to the future of this app and wish you guys the best.
Great app, some minor problems
jbeljbcqlbjf
Dear Devs,What you have mad where is an enjoyable learning app with a minimal design. I love the wide range of tests and filters that are provided. The minor problem with the pro subscription is that I cannot change the icon, I know this is a very minor issue, but it may affect other users in the future. Every time I try to change the icon it gives me the “cannot change icon, file not found”. I tried deleting and reinstalling the app but the same thing happens. Other than that, keep doing what you are doing, all the best,Kind regards,Andy
Developer Response
Hi Andy and thank you for your message, it helped me fix this in version 1.0.7. You can now change the icon on iPad and I even added some, and will continue to do so in the future :) I'm sorry this happened, please let me know if you have any other feedback, I will do my best to make the app as good as possible over time!
