You can learn every aspect of the Japanese language with this which I really appreciate!! It’s helped my Japanese progress way more than other platforms, it has clear demonstrations and instruction from grammar, sentences, words, kanji, verb stems etc (literally anything you could want to learn). I had to start from basic as I had missed so much grammar from my other attempt at learning at Japanese. Renshuu explains everything sunply and easy to understand and in an exciting and positive manner!! One thing I really really appreciate is that there are no hearts!! You can make as many mistakes as you need to help your learning ❤️ you can learn at your own pace, you can choose which schedules you would like to study depending on both the level and topic (grammar, words, sentences) you want to study at that moment! I love how there is access to so much of the app even on the free version, it doesn’t feel like paying for renshuu pro is a necessity! Although I pay for pro and have found the wider variety of question and answer formats extremely useful, but even if you don’t pay it’s sooo worth while!! You have free access to all previous lessons if you feel like you need a reminder about a topic, and having the dictionary on the app with the definition for every word is immensely useful!! It contains botha renshuus recommended schedules and textbook schedules, you get to choose which you would rather study! It covers all the way from basic and N5-N1 with options of having JLPT style questions. there is access to games etc., literally whatever suits your learning style! Everything is customisable! There is also access to a a discord group to support each other in your learning! 🤍 I’ll probably leave an update review in a few months time once I’ve used renshuu for even longer, I’ve loved everything about it so far, and also a special thanks to the creator and small team working for renshuu, your platform has helped my Japanese immensely and thank you for always sending messages you all seem so lovely, it makes the experience even more enjoyable 😊

I took up this app a few months ago and it’s been nothing but an amazing experience so far - the format of the grammar learning and the different games, like shiritori and the opportunity to write haiku has been very helpful in my Japanese learning!! Since I find it really fun to do the activities, it’s so much easier to stick with this than other programs I’ve tried. The UI is gorgeous and easy to interact with, plus the community is super lovely! Definitely recommend it for anyone looking to increase their Japanese ability, whether it’s kanji, grammar or just increasing your comfort in using the language!

This app explains concepts in the Japanese language that are hard to grasp for some, rather than other language apps that just chuck the concept at you without any understanding as to why it is the way it is. The art used throughout the app is a nice touch showing how much they care about the user experience, being as encouraging as possible to get into the language. I only dock a point because while it is understandable to lock away features in a Pro version, there are so many useful tools locked away. It is definitely possible to get a lot out of the app through using it for free but you will have to resort to other resources in tandem if you want to learn more.

I am loving this app it’s honestly really fun to learn with Renshuu and I feel like I am improving my Japanese each day. There are study and tests sections and games to play too. My favourite part is that there is a garden and the more you study the better your garden gets with earning coins for challenges. My boyfriend is Japanese and said this app is more natural Japanese than other apps I was using that made my Japanese sound like a weird robot. I haven’t found any bugs or annoying things on the app everything is great!!
