The workout videos and overall structure of the app are actually good and well put together. Unfortunately, the rest timer design ruins the experience. The rest timer runs endlessly, doesn’t stop or reset between sets, and gives no accurate rest time, which just prolongs workouts beyond what’s intended. I don’t understand why a simple manually set timer that stops and restarts with each set wasn’t implemented.Apple Watch connectivity also disconnects frequently, which interrupts workouts and tracking.Good content, but the rest timer and constant disconnections make the app frustrating and inefficient to use.Updated review:I contacted support and was guided through how to use the rest timer properly. Now that I understand how it works, I actually think it’s really good. It encourages you to keep your workouts moving without wasting too much time between sets, and it’s surprisingly accurate at tracking your rest, even when you’re not actively logging an exercise. There was maybe one exercise where the system didn’t pick up the movement correctly, but overall the app is extremely solid. It’s very motivating to use, offers a wide range of exercises, and includes clear videos and coaching on how to use the equipment properly. I genuinely think this app is going to change the way workout apps are used, and I’d definitely recommend it.I’m honestly addicted to the app now and feel really motivated to keep up with my workouts. It’s pushed me to stay consistent and engaged with my training, and I’m excited to see how it continues to improve over time. I’ll definitely be sticking with it and look forward to any new updates and features.
Thanks for taking the time to write such a detailed and thoughtful review — we really appreciate you calling out both what’s working well and what isn’t.The rest timer experience you described is the intended behavior. The rest timer should not stop between sets, otherwise you'd be getting inaccurate readings. As soon as a set finishes, the rest timer restarts and begins counting immediately.Regarding the disconnections. I can see your watch is updated to watchOS 26.2, but your iPhone is only on iOS 26.1. This will cause connectivity problems, and is the reason for the disconnects you are seeing. To fix this problem, please update your iPhone to iOS 26.2. Once you do this, you'll be back to normal on the workouts!Your feedback directly helps us prioritize improvements, and we appreciate you sticking with us while we continue to make the experience better.
